FAQs

Everything people ask before they buy.

Six products, and the same handful of fair questions about all of them. Nothing here is hidden behind a form, and nothing is folded away in a drawer. If the answer you need is not on this wall, ask us and it will be tomorrow.

The name

It means the running of a thing.

People ask this on almost every call, usually right after they have tried to spell it. The short answer is that the root is about motion, and about keeping something in motion, which is a better description of the work than anything we could have coined on purpose.

What does “Hadzira” mean?

It is a coined name, and it sits on a Slavic root: hod, which turns up as chod in Czech and Slovak, chód in Polish and ход in Russian. It comes from Proto-Slavic xodŭ, and it means motion, movement, a way forward. The verb built from it simply means to go.

The part that made it stick is what that same word does in Czech and Slovak, where chod also means the running of a thing. A machine that runs sweetly is said to have a quiet chod. And the root is cousin to the Greek hodós, the way.

Motion. The running of a thing. The way. The name was picked for how it sounded, and then the meaning turned out to be the job description, because keeping your business running is the entire product.

The basics

The short version.

What this is, and which part of it is yours.

What exactly is Hadzira?

Hadzira is a family of six business products, each built for one trade: a restaurant point of sale, an electronics and wholesale ERP, a church system, a school system, a clinic and pharmacy suite, and a storefront for creators. You take the one built for your work, it carries your name and your logo, and we run the infrastructure underneath it so you never have to think about servers, backups or updates.

Which of the six is mine?

Go by what you do. Food service is SwiftDidi. Phones, electronics and wholesale is Kura. A church or ministry is Asore. A school is Sukuu. A clinic or pharmacy is AdomRx. An artist or creator selling drops is Awu. If you are still not sure, tell us what your day looks like and we will point you at one, including at nothing if none of them fits yet.

Do I have to take all six?

No, and almost nobody does. You buy the one product that matches your trade and that is the whole relationship. The other five are simply not your concern.

Is this one big system with six names on it?

No. Sukuu is not the restaurant till with the words swapped out, and it would be a bad school system if it were. Each product is built for its own trade, with the vocabulary, the workflow and the small details of that trade. What they have in common is a standard every Hadzira product has to pass before it ships: it keeps working offline, it takes mobile money, it walls your data off from everyone else, it carries your brand and not ours. The standard is shared. The product is built for you.

My trade is not on the list. Can you still help?

Sometimes, and we will tell you honestly which. Some businesses fit an existing product more closely than they expect: a pharmacy chain is well served by AdomRx, a supermarket by Kura. If nothing fits, we would rather say so than sell you the nearest thing and let you discover the gap in month three. Tell us what you run, and we will give you a straight answer.

Which ones can I buy today?

SwiftDidi and Kura are live and running real businesses. Asore and Sukuu are launching, which means they are built and taking their first clients now. AdomRx and Awu are still in design, so what you can do there is become a design partner: you help shape the build, you go first, and you keep founder pricing.

The products

What each one actually does.

One note each, in the words of the job it does.

What is SwiftDidi?

A point of sale for restaurants, chop bars and quick-service food. It rings up sales with no internet at all, queues them safely on the device, and syncs the moment the network comes back, so a power cut costs you nothing. It runs a kitchen display so the kitchen and the front of house always agree on what is happening, holds riders to a four digit customer PIN on delivery, and prices every add-on and option combination live on both the receipt and the kitchen ticket.

What is Kura?

An inventory and wholesale system for phone dealers, electronics importers and anyone selling serialised goods. Every IMEI and serial number is its own record, tracked from the day it lands to the day it sells, so a missing unit is a specific phone with a name attached rather than a mystery in a book. It also runs wholesale credit properly: customer ledgers, ageing, part payments, and a portal where a wholesaler can pay their balance down online.

What is Asore?

A management system for churches with more than one assembly. It gives the leadership a single consolidated view of membership, attendance, giving and pastoral care across every branch, and it raises a follow-up when a regular attender or giver goes quiet, which is the moment most people are actually lost. Giving is recorded cleanly per member and per branch, so reporting to the house is transparent.

What is Sukuu?

A school management system covering the whole child, from admission to alumni: enrolment, attendance, timetables, continuous assessment, exams and printed report cards. On the money side it bills by the term the way schools actually budget, takes mobile money, issues a receipt the moment a parent pays, and keeps a live arrears list the bursar can work through. Parents follow attendance, results and their balance from their own phone.

What is AdomRx?

A clinic and pharmacy suite that puts the consulting room, the dispensary and the cashier on one patient record. Prescriptions travel from the doctor to the dispensary without paper, drug stock is tracked by batch and expiry so an expired box never leaves the shelf, and cash, insurance and NHIS claims settle on one bill. It is in design, so early partners shape it and go first.

What is Awu?

A storefront for artists and creators built around drops rather than catalogues. An AI stylist chats in the creator’s own voice and adds pieces to the cart inside the conversation, while fan tiers, limited runs and countdowns create the scarcity that actually moves merchandise. When a drop closes, the boring half is already done: a packing list by size and colour, orders grouped by delivery zone, and every fan told where and when to collect. It is in design.

Can I run two of them at once?

Yes, and some people do. A group that runs a restaurant and an electronics shop takes SwiftDidi and Kura, each priced on its own. They are separate products with separate logins, because a waiter has no business in your wholesale ledger. Tell us both sides of what you run and we will price it as one conversation.

Will you build something custom for me?

Inside a product, often yes: the way your fee structure works, your report card layout, your modifier rules, your branch structure. That is normal and it is not billed as a project. A whole new product for a trade we do not serve yet is a different conversation, and an honest one: we take on a new sector deliberately and rarely, so we can go deep instead of shipping six shallow things.

Power & devices

Power cuts, patchy data, cheap phones.

The questions that decide whether software survives a normal Tuesday.

What happens when the lights go out?

You keep working. The apps are built offline first, which means the device holds what it needs to keep trading without a connection, rather than freezing and waiting for a server. This is the difference we are most stubborn about, because a till that stops when the power stops is not a till.

What happens to a sale I made while offline?

It is recorded on the device immediately and queued. When the network comes back, it syncs on its own, in order, and nothing is lost. Just as importantly, nobody gets charged twice on the way back up, which is the failure people have usually been burned by before.

Do I have to buy special hardware?

No. That assumption is exactly what we build against. If your staff have Android phones, you can start. No tablet fleet, no card terminal, no branded till hardware sitting in a box waiting for a technician.

Will it run on a cheap Android?

Yes. The everyday six hundred cedi Android is the device we design against, not the fallback we tolerate. If it only felt good on a new iPad we would have built the wrong thing.

Is it an app I download or a website?

You open it in the browser and can add it to your home screen, where it behaves like any other app on the phone. There is no app store approval standing between you and a fix, which is part of why we can turn a problem around the same day.

Do I need a receipt printer?

Only if you want printed receipts. Where a printer suits the counter, it is supported. Where it does not, receipts go out digitally, which most customers now prefer anyway. Neither one is a condition of using the product.

Where can I use it?

It is built in Ghana and shaped around how businesses across Africa actually run, from mobile money to multi-branch structures to intermittent power. Nothing in it is tied to one country. If you are operating outside Ghana, talk to us about payment rails and currency before you commit, and we will tell you plainly what works today.

Pricing

What it costs, and where yours lands.

Prices live on each product page. Everything around them is here.

Can it take mobile money?

Yes, on every product where money changes hands, and not as an afterthought bolted on at the end. Cash, mobile money and card all reconcile together at day close, so the figure you finish on is the figure that is actually there.

Where does my money actually land?

In your own account. Payments settle to you directly. We are not a payment processor, we do not sit in the middle of your takings, and there is no float of your money resting anywhere with us.

What does it cost?

Each product carries its own starting price on its own page, because a school billed by the term and a restaurant billed by the month are genuinely different shapes. What is the same everywhere: unlimited staff on every plan, and your first month free: you run your business on the full product for a month before you pay a pesewa.

Is there a setup fee?

No. Setup, loading your existing data, putting your logo and colours on it, and training your staff are all part of what you are already paying, not a separate invoice. That is the whole point of the receipt on our about page.

Do I pay more for each staff member?

No. Every plan has unlimited staff accounts. Charging per seat quietly punishes you for hiring, and it pushes owners into sharing one login, which then destroys any hope of knowing who did what.

Do you take a percentage of my sales?

No. You pay a flat subscription and that is the end of it. Your best month is your best month, not our best month.

What about a second branch?

A second branch is not a second licence. Multi-branch is how the products are built rather than an upgrade tier: staff, stock and sales stay tied to their own location, then roll up so head office sees the whole business in one view.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. It is month to month, and you can cancel any month. We would rather earn it again every month than hold you to a year you regret. If you do leave, your data leaves with you, in full, at no charge.

Brand & data

Whose name is on it, and who owns what.

The two questions every serious buyer asks third.

Will my customers see Hadzira or my business?

Yours. Your logo, your colours and your name sit on every screen, every receipt and every portal your customers or parents log into. Your staff see your company. Your customers see your company. Our name is on the contract, not on your counter.

Who owns the data in my account?

You do. Your records are yours: your customers, your stock, your pupils, your members, your takings. We hold them so the software can work, and that is the whole of our claim on them.

Can I take my data out and leave?

Yes, in full, and without paying for the privilege. Being able to walk out with everything is what makes staying a real choice rather than a trap, so we treat export as a normal feature rather than a retention lever.

Is my data mixed in with other businesses?

No. Your business has its own account and its own records, and no other business can see into it. The same holds inside your own company: a branch manager sees the branch they run, and head office is the only place the branches are seen together.

How is my account protected?

Everybody signs in as themselves, and what they can open follows the job they do, so a sales assistant is not standing in the owner’s figures. The account keeps its own record of who did what and when, which is what settles a disagreement about a figure weeks later. And on the accounts that matter most, sign-in can ask for a code from the person’s phone as well as the password.

Do you sell my data, or use it to train anything?

No. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not feed your business into anything on the side. We charge a subscription precisely so that your data does not have to be the product.

What if Hadzira disappears tomorrow?

A fair question to ask any young company, and the honest answer is the export. Because you can pull your full records out at any time without asking permission, the worst case is that you leave with everything you put in. We would rather you check that works early than take our word for it.

Setup & support

How it begins, and who picks up.

From the first call to the night something goes wrong.

How long until I am live?

Days, not months, for the products that are live today. The work is loading what you already have, setting up your staff, and getting the team comfortable. A school is the one to plan for properly: the first term needs one sitting with the head and the bursar to set classes and fee structures, and after that it runs itself.

Can you move my existing records in?

Yes, and it is included. Exercise books, spreadsheets, an export from whatever you are on now: bring it and we will load it with you. Nobody is asked to type their whole business in by hand as the price of starting.

How do you train my staff?

On their own phones, in your own place of work, using your real data rather than a demo. Training on the device someone will actually use is the difference between a team that adopts the thing and a team that quietly goes back to the book.

Can I see it working before I pay?

Yes. Every product page on this site has a live interactive preview you can click through right now, no form and no email required. Beyond that, book a demo and we will walk through it with your own numbers in it.

What support do I get?

Same day WhatsApp support, included, with no tiers to buy. When you message, you reach the people who built the product, not a queue and not a script. That is not a premium plan, it is just the size of the company.

Something has gone wrong. What do I do?

Message us on WhatsApp and say what happened, roughly when, and which branch or device. We will tell you what we have found and what we are doing rather than closing the thread. If it is a fault on our side we fix it and say so, and because there is no app store queue in the way, a fix can reach you the same day.

What if I want to complain about how we were treated?

Say it to us directly and it reaches the founder, because there is no layer for it to get lost in. If we got something wrong we would rather hear it from you than read it somewhere later, and you will get an answer rather than an acknowledgement.

How do I actually start?

Send us a message with what you run and roughly how big it is. We will tell you which product fits, show it to you with your own numbers in it, and give you a straight price. If none of them fits you yet, we will say that too.

Still stuck

Asked something we have not answered?

Send it over. You will reach the people who build the products, and a question asked twice tends to end up on this wall.
